Vyšší Brod - The most significant monument in Vyšší Brod is the Cistercian monastery with a Gothic cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. A library of 70,000 volumes is the third largest library in the republic. Today, there is a community of monks who are trying to restore the religious life and the monastery complex. Other sights include the Dean's Church of St. Bartholomew.
Čertova stěna (Devil's Wall) - Devil's Wall is one of the most beautiful rock locations in South Bohemia. On an area of approximately 10 hectares, over a deep valley of the Vltava, a wild rocky cliff is covered with chaotic granite boulders. Close to the parking lot, there is a 30 meter high rock block called Devil's pulpit, which has a nice view of the romantic river Vltava. The National Nature Reserve Luč is also in the immediate vicinity.
Loučovice - The village is located in Vyšebrodsko Nature Park, which includes the Nature Reserves of the Kapličky and Bear Mountain with the remains of a mountain mixed and deciduous forest. Monumental objects in the village: St. Oldrich's Church, St. Prokop's Chapel.
Lipno – Water reservoir - The Lipno reservoir stretches over an area of about 4800 hectares in a wide valley between the Šumava ridges at an altitude of 726 m. The tank is 44km long and in some places wide up to 10km. It is a popular place for recreation and the largest recreational area of South Bohemia. Lipno is operated by shipping.
