| Desná - U dubu (By The Oak)- A picturesque mountain town established in the break of 16th and 17th century. There are some important cultural sights to be found in Desná such as the Riedel Villa (there is a cultural centre in the first floor as well as the town library with public internet connection, museum with a stable glassmaking history exposition). Another one of the sights is the family tomb of Riedels and the building of the town hall | | Waterfalls Černá Desná – The waterfalls are made of two granite steps, 4 and 7 meters high. | | Souš-crossing- Dam from 1915 on Černá Desná river, not far from Desná itself. The weir is 21 meters high and 364 meters long. The water surface takes about 86 hectares and the depth is about the same as the weir. In 1974 it has been changed into a drinking water reservoir that is why it is prohibited to swim there. The name came from the original settlement, which has been partly inundated and part of it still exists near the dam. | | Church in Desná- The church of Ascension is one of the most important monuments of the town. It is the oldest sacral building there. |
